Clearing Your Emotional Closet
Has something happened in your life that you just can’t seem to fully move past? You’re not alone. Like many of us, you have not cleared out your emotional junk closet so unresolved emotions may surface unexpectedly. Emotional junk closets are created when we repress our emotions, tossing them in the closet, in hopes they will disappear. Stuffing something away is not the same as releasing it. Over time unresolved emotions can build up causing imbalances. This presentation explores the power of emotions and techniques for clearing unresolved emotional imprints from a mind-body-spirit perspective.
Keys to Resilience & Long Term Recovery
Where does the hope lie with severe mental illness? It can be easy to overlook the power of resilience, connections, and hope when faced with mental illness, yet these can be key for long-term recovery. This workshop provides best practices for recovery and resilience for consumers, family caregivers and providers from a consumer and family caregiver’s perspective. You will learn about tapping into the power of personal connections, choice and purpose for long-term recovery; recovery skills and medication management; coping strategies for family care givers; and insights into programs and services that best support resiliency in mental health consumers and caregivers.
Live UP: Using Mind Body Practices to Unleash Your Unlimited Potential
Have you ever said, ‘That person has great potential but they just can’t seem to realize it’? On some level, you could say that about most of us because we each have access to unlimited potential. Unfortunately this abundant potential largely goes untapped because it requires connection with our inner self, which acts as a doorway to infinite intelligence, infinite potential and unbounded energy. Opening this doorway and translating this potential into our lives requires us to Live UP. Living Your Unlimited Potential (UP) uses mind-body-spirit practices to translate infinite possibilities into expanded realities in your life. This workshop explores mind-body-spirit practices like yoga, meditation, qi gong that offer powerful techniques for connecting to your inner self and tapping into infinite potential.

Yoga can be a powerful antidote for stress. This workshop explores yogic practices to manage stress:
- Yoga poses ease tension in the body
- Breathing practices can be used to activate the relaxation response
- Mindfulness helps to focus and quiet the thoughts driving the stress response
Yoga for Anxiety and Depression
Yoga is as much about the mind as it is about the body. Yoga offers practical tools that empower people to manage their mood and mind. This workshop presents research findings on therapeutic yoga practices that improve mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and counter depression. Participants will learn about the yogic approach to mental wellness and yoga practices to address anxiety and depression.
Chakra System: Decoding Life’s Messages
Have you ever wished there was a handbook for your life? Unfortunately there’s no such handbook, however the Chakra system is a powerful model that can help you understand what's happening beneath the surface of your life and dynamics impacting the quality of your health, relationships and work. According to the yogic system, the body has seven major chakras, or energy centers that receive, store, and distribute energy to the body. When our chakras are out of alignment, it can lead to imbalances in the mind, body or spirit over time. In this workshop, you will learn yogic techniques to decode, balance and align the chakras.
Pranayama: Cultivating the Power of the Breath
Did you know that studies have found that slow, deep breathing activates our relaxation response? There is a whole system in yoga devoted to the breath known as Pranayama. Pranayama or breath control practices can be used to increase vitality, manage stress and cultivate mindfulness. In this workshop, you will learn about the history of pranayama, the impact of specific breathing techniques, and how to incorporate pranayama into a yoga practice.
Energetics of Yoga
Prana is the Sanskrit word for breath, spirit, energy, and life force. There is no life without this vital energy that animates our bodies and everything in the universe. The more prana that flows within us, the more enlivened we are. Yoga is designed to increase the flow of prana, considered a vital link between the mind, body, and spirit. This workshop explores the mystical world of energetics in yoga and how to incorporate energetic practices into a yoga practice.

The ultimate goal of this private training is to provide you with assessable, everyday mind-body-spirit practices that empower you to transform your body and mind.

The Jade Practices: Feminine Cultivation
Feminine cultivation practices are based upon internal energy practices that incorporate qi gong, nei-gong and yogic techniques that involve meditation, breathing practices, and movements ranging from slow and graceful to more vigorous. The practices are designed to balance and cultivate the flow of creative energy through the body and ultimately to provide women with tools to strengthen the pelvic floor, balance their hormones, cultivate emotional resilience, enhance feminine energy, and rejuvenate the body. During these sessions, you will learn qigong practices for women designed to help you access your creative, feminine energy and channel it for healing and growth.

Live UP (Internal Energy Cultivation)
Living your unlimited potential (UP) is about translating principles from internal energy practices, quantum physics, mystical traditions, and transformational learning into accessible practices that enable you to express more of your potential. Learn how to use mind-body-spirit practices to promote health, enhance creativity, and revitalize your energy. These sessions heavily incorporate qi gong practices designed to cultivate internal energy.

Private Yoga Training
Based on your goals and specific needs, I customize a yoga program for you that will bring your body and mind into greater balance and help you to access your body’s healing abilities. Each session incorporates yoga postures, breath work, and mindfulness practices.

Mindfulness Practices
Learn meditations and other internal practices designed to cultivate greater mindfulness, self- awareness, self-management, and focus. Ideal for those who want to learn stress management techniques or how to meditate.
